Perscitus BioSciences Receives $250K Loan From State

MADISON, WI -- Biotechnology company Perscitus BioSciences, LLC announced that it has received $250,000 in debt financing from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce.
Perscitus is developing a compound that protects normal cells in the body from the toxic effects of chemotherapy. The result would be far less damaging chemotherapy treatments, which normally kill good cells along with the cancerous ones.
The company intends to use the proceeds to purchase additional equipment, hire more researchers and potentially attract more investment, according to Chairman Dr. James Thomas.
